The online session of about 2 1/2 hours needs to be completed before attending your selected mechanics clinic at one of our five locations.
Prior to the clinic, you need to watch the Theory Clinic video session. We know that a number of you have already completed the clinic, but if you haven’t please do as soon as possible. The clinic is hosted on the Alberta Softball Umpires Association website in a google docs format.

The clinic may be completed any time at your pace. It is focused on 1st and 2nd year umpires but a good refresher for umpires of all levels.
- Five modules: each module 25-30 minutes in length, and has a short quiz at the end of each module (except the last module on the new rules, there is no quiz).
- Once you complete the quiz for a module, you will see a link for the next module. Make sure you bookmark the link for the next module, in case you aren’t ready to continue or need to restart partway through.
