CASUA wishes to thank the family of Ken Wamsley for their generous donation of Ken’s umpire equipment to the association.

Ken was a long-time member of the umpiring community who passed away last year.

CASUA AGM Elections

At the AGM on March 27th the following persons were elected to positions on the board.

  • President: Doug Smith – 2-year term
  • Assignor: Jeremy Organ – 2-year term
  • Vice President: Cameron Kreil – 1 year to serve out Doug Smith’s Vice-Presidential term

President and Vice President positions are normally elected in alternating years.

CASUA thanks the following for their distinguished service,

  • Malcolm Murray, now Past President, after two terms as president.
  • Brad Lyon, former President and more recently assignor.

Both gentlemen formed the backbone of CASUA for many years.
